Jess A. Dishner, President of Dishner Developers, Inc., has been a respected leader in the development, construction, and real estate industries since 1988. Throughout his career, he has held key sales, marketing, and customer relations leadership roles and has been associated with some of Pinehurst, North Carolina’s most successful construction companies. His genuine passion for people, combined with a commitment to exceptional customer service, has set him apart throughout his career. For Jess, creating a positive and rewarding building experience is always the highest priority.
A licensed Real Estate Broker with ENRG Realty Group, Jess serves clients throughout North Carolina from offices in the Village of Pinehurst, Seven Lakes, and the Lake Norman region.
Having lived in 32 homes throughout his life, Jess brings a unique perspective to every project. Growing up in a military family and traveling extensively across the United States and Europe gave him an early appreciation for diverse lifestyles, architecture, and design. Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed more than 500 projects, including golf villas, equestrian estates, retirement condominiums, military housing communities in the Sandhills, rustic mountain retreats, and coastal active-adult communities featuring cottages, bungalows, and single-family homes.
Jess’s expertise and reputation have earned significant industry recognition. He was selected to participate in the Southern Living Custom Builder Program and serves as an Independent Representative for Woodhouse Timber Frame Company. He remains actively involved in community initiatives and serves with Elevation Church.
Jess earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from James Madison University. Prior to his career in development and real estate, he served as an Artillery Officer in the United States Army and spent ten years in medical sales with Syntex Laboratories.
Family remains at the center of Jess’s life. He and his wife, Kathee, have been married for more than 45 years and are proud parents of two daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. Together, they enjoy boating on Lake Auman, hiking throughout the North Carolina mountains, and cycling along the North Carolina coast.
With decades of experience, a deep understanding of the building process, and a sincere dedication to helping people achieve their goals, Jess continues to bring together people, properties, and projects with professionalism, integrity, and care.
